Privacy & Data Sovereignty
Your cloud data will reside in the country you choose. For European clients, this means EU servers, as required by GDPR. For data backups in Italy, we use ACN-certified servers, or we deploy on-premises servers for your organization.
Backups, monitoring, logs: everything remains under your control and within your jurisdiction. The NOvest Privacy™ Protocol goes beyond mere compliance with local laws of the client’s country, ensuring maximum protection based on the security criticality of our clients.
Business Continuity & Immutable Backups
We design corporate-grade immutable and encrypted data backup systems. Even in the event of a devastating attack, your data archives remain inaccessible to attackers, ensuring a business restart within hours.
Backups are immutable and reside within the client’s jurisdiction, ensuring compliance with local laws.
Frequently Asked Questions
Where is my data physically located?
Your data resides in the cloud (with military-grade encryption, unreadable by anyone except you) in the country you choose. For EU clients, we exclusively use European data centers: it is a GDPR requirement and our standard practice. For Swiss clients, we use Swiss cloud services. We always apply the NOvest Privacy™ Protocol.
What are your cybersecurity and MSSP service prices?
At NordOvest, we do not offer “one-size-fits-all” packages. We design and harden bespoke zero trust architectures based on the size and vulnerability of your company. Our extreme security and privacy standards target a niche of professionals and companies that accept no compromises on their data. We invite you to request a free Preliminary Audit: we will outline the vulnerabilities in your current system and provide a cost estimate precisely tailored to your actual protection needs.
Who needs to comply with NIS2 or GDPR?
Not only large strategic companies: the NIS2 directive extends to the entire supply chain. If you work with entities or companies that fall within the NIS2 perimeter, you must also comply. For GDPR, all companies that process client data must be compliant: depending on the level of data sensitivity, the measures vary. Therefore, the scope for GDPR compliance is very broad.
How quickly can you make my company NIS2 compliant?
It depends on the network size and the software already in use. For an accurate analysis, we recommend direct contact, but generally full alignment takes approximately one working week. We intervene in stages: essentials first, then for example cyber hygiene (e.g., password manager) is implemented within a month.
What are the benefits of the RMM Fleet Management service?
The service transforms maintenance from a “break-fix” approach to a preventive model. Our systems monitor critical parameters such as SSD degradation, CPU operating temperatures, memory saturation, and system integrity. We intervene remotely before hardware damage or data loss occurs, eliminating work interruptions for your staff.
Where do you operate and how quickly?
All of Italy: service activation within 7 days. NIS2 compliance can also be activated remotely.
Lombardy, Liguria, Piedmont: physical intervention (if urgent) within the next business day. Service activation within 5–7 days.
Outside Italy: generally within 15 days we can activate the full security service.
Which antivirus / EDR do you use?
For security policy reasons, we do not publicly disclose product names. We can guarantee that we use the same platforms adopted by the world’s largest international corporations. When we use third-party software, we always recommend the global best for updates, reliability, and power, in accordance with the NOvest Privacy™ Protocol.
Do Switzerland or non-EU countries also need NIS2 compliance?
In theory, it is not legally mandatory. However, if you supply products or services to strategic companies in the EU, they may require you to comply in order to protect their supply chain. This is not a regulatory gap but a matter of jurisdiction: aligning with NIS2 offers you an enormous competitive advantage and reassures your European partners. These are standard cybersecurity measures, best practices that should always be adopted.
